What EvidenceGather does
EvidenceGather is a private, tamper-evident record of what happened to you — built the moment it happens, kept somewhere your phone cannot lose it, and shaped for the person who will one day need to read it.
What you do
Almost nothing. You get a private evidence address and forward anything to it the moment it happens: a message, a screenshot, a photo, an email from a landlord or an employer. There is no app to install, no icon on your phone, nothing in an app store or a backup.
- Forward it from any email app in a few seconds.
- Upload a video or record audio straight from your phone's browser, with nothing to install.Coming next
What we do with it
Every entry is sealed as it arrives and filed where you can see the pattern.
- We stamp the moment it arrived, on our clock, not your phone's.
- We take a digital fingerprint of every file and of the whole message, and seal both so that nothing in the entry can be changed afterwards — not even by you.
- Every night, an outside timestamp service signs that night's fingerprints and the same proof is recorded on a public ledger, so an independent party can confirm your record existed by that date and that we could not have altered it either.
- Each entry is filed on your calendar and under your own issues, so scattered moments become a pattern you can see: what happened, when, how often.
- We read what the files themselves say, such as when a photo was really taken, and show it honestly beside the arrival time.
What you get when you need it
Hopefully never. If you do, the record is already in the shape the reader expects.
- A dated, numbered export of your record, with the sealed entry kept visibly separate from any notes you added later.
- Proof files that anyone can check with standard tools, with no need to trust us.
- Exhibit sheets for photos, video and audio that print the fingerprint, the recording and arrival times, and a QR code to the original.Coming next
- A share link for a solicitor, mediator, housing officer or police officer that shows one record only, logs every view, and can be switched off.Coming next
- A plain-language, dated description of how your record is kept, written to answer the questions a court actually asks.Coming next
Who it is for
Anyone who may one day have to show what happened and when. The same record serves every setting; only the export changes.
- People heading towards the family court who need to show a pattern of controlling behaviour.
- Tenants documenting disrepair that is not being fixed.
- People facing bullying, harassment or unfair treatment at work.
- People experiencing stalking or abuse, including through codes funded by the services that support them.
- Noise and neighbour disputes, school appeals, consumer and small claims.
How it is paid for
Paid by you at a low monthly price, with funded routes for people who cannot pay.
- A free tier to start, a low monthly tier for capture, and a higher tier that unlocks sharing, exhibit sheets, transcripts and the independently timestamped export.
- Charities, police commissioners and firms can buy voucher codes that redeem without a card.Coming next
- A hardship route for people who cannot pay.Coming next
- Card statements show our publisher's name, not ours.
What we will never do
These are the lines we hold, because the people who use this service cannot afford for us not to.
- Promise an outcome, or claim that a record will be accepted anywhere. Courts decide what weight to give evidence; we make sure yours is as strong as it can be.
- Track you inside the app, sell your record, advertise against it, or use it to train anything.
- Send your material to a third-party AI service.
- Delete the original on your phone. The copy you forward is a copy; keep yours too.
- Quietly change a sealed entry. Not you, not us. The nightly outside timestamp is how you can prove it.
Where it stands today
Email capture, the calendar, issues, patterns, fingerprinting, sealing of the whole message, the nightly independent timestamp and the record export are live. Next come share links, the court-shaped export and exhibit sheets, then phone video and audio, then voucher codes.
